Hey,
Welcome to my fundraising page. As you may know, over the past year or two a couple of my loved ones - my sister and father - have been diagnosed with cancer. An aggressive breast cancer (2 different types in fact) in my sisters case; and thyroid, kidney and prostate in my fathers case. Cancers seem to be attracted to my father like a budgy to a bell. In fact, Universities have expressed interest in studying his DNA to find out why!!
When I heard about the opportunity to cycle and hike through Asia to raise funds for cancer research I was inspired by the notion of contributing toward a cure that would save individuals and families the pain and anguish we've experienced (as do so many others) in recent years - and continue to experience.
I'd be most grateful if you would contribute generously. I can't think of a more important cause.
