Story
I am aiming to raise money for charity and I would welcome any contribution, great or small, that you could make! I will be trekking and cycling South East Asia for 2 weeks in November 2010. I am raising money for the Cure Cancer Australia Foundation which provides vital seed funding to national cancer research.
I am running this race in memory of my Great Aunt Mary, who passed away from pancreatic cancer 19 years ago. It’s been 19 years and we still do not have a cure for this and other horrific forms of cancer! Aunt Mary was a strong, kind, caring, loud, funny but all-around loving woman and she inspired me greatly to be the same. I hope I can do her proud on this challenging journey and raise vital funds to find a cure for this disease.
